Crystal Wu's Artwork Gallery
"For a long time, I have wanted to express my interpretation of 'love' through various artistic means because this profound feeling, when conveyed through words or actions, often feels pale and lacks the lasting impression I seek... I have seen the courage of love in Chagall's work ("The Promenade"), love as comfort in Gauguin's painting ("The Two Sisters")... These moments of love, captured in paintings, linger in my mind like frozen frames that I reflect on time and time again... I can feel countless moments of love and being loved in my life. These intangible yet exhilarating feelings turn into a force that drives me to use colours, paint, and brushes to express myself freely. The fluidity of lines, the rhythm of brushstrokes, and the clash of colours allow me to express deeper emotions, and that is 'love'." says Crystal Wu.
Below are a few of Crystal's large-scale creations, and we will update regularly. Click on each artwork to view more details.
During March 2025, Crystal has stayed in Shanghai and went to the Art Basel in Hong Kong. Since then she has had a bucket load of inspirations and went on to create 6 new artworks, ready for her solo exhibiton starting in late May.
"There is a warmth of feeling in Crystal Wu’s paintings, one moreover that is easily connected to love in all its dimensions."
